  1. You tell us the shapeDay one

Dates, roughly how many nights, who is travelling and anything that matters: a park you have read about, a budget ceiling, a mobility need, a honeymoon. A paragraph is plenty.

What we needDates or a month, number of travellers with ages for children, and a rough sense of level. Everything else can wait.
  2. We send a route and a priceWithin 1–2 days

A written itinerary with named camps, why each one was chosen, what the season will realistically look like on your dates, and a single all-in price with an itemised list of what it includes and excludes.

What you will not getA generic PDF brochure, a price that moves after you confirm, or three tiers designed to push you to the middle one.
  3. We change it until it fitsAs long as it takes

Most journeys go through two or three rounds. Swap a park, add a night, drop the level on one camp to fund another, move the whole thing a month. Revisions are free and unlimited before you confirm.

Be blunt with usIf the price is wrong, say so plainly. We can almost always rebuild the same trip at a different number. The honest version of that conversation saves everyone a week.
  4. You confirm and we bookOn your word

A thirty percent deposit secures camps, guides and internal flights. The balance is due sixty days before arrival. You get a confirmation pack with every booking reference, our emergency numbers, and a packing and visa briefing that is actually specific to your route.

Before you payWe ask every traveller to hold travel insurance including medical evacuation. We will tell you what your policy needs to cover.
  5. We are there when you landOn arrival

Met at Kilimanjaro airport by name, briefed by your guide the evening before you set off, and reachable on WhatsApp throughout. If something changes in the field (weather, a road, a better sighting elsewhere), your guide has the authority to change the plan.

After the tripOne follow-up message asking what was good and what was not, and a genuine request for a Google review only if you thought it was worth one.

What we will not do

  • Keep you guessing on price. We publish guide prices so you know roughly where you stand, then confirm one all-in price for your dates, and that price does not change.
  • Put you in a shared vehicle without telling you clearly that it is shared.
  • Promise a river crossing, a rhino, or any sighting that depends on animals.
  • Book a camp we cannot describe from either our own visit or a colleague we trust.
  • Add a fee after you have confirmed. The number in your confirmation is the number.

Questions about the process

Thirty percent to confirm, with the balance due sixty days before arrival. For bookings made inside sixty days, full payment is due at confirmation.

Our cancellation terms are set out in full in the terms and conditions and in your confirmation. They follow the camps’ own terms, which tighten as you approach the date, which is exactly why we insist on insurance.

Yes, by bank transfer or card. Card payments carry the processing fee charged by the provider, which we show you rather than hiding in the price.

One planner from first message to departure, and one guide for the whole journey on the ground. You will not be handed between a sales team and an operations team.

Where to go next
