About Under Canvas

Under Canvas is a mobile tented camp in North Serengeti (Jun–Nov) and Ndutu (Dec–Apr), which we book at Premium level.

Meals: full board. Compare it with our other seasonal mobile camps and our Premium stays.

Why we use it

  • We use it for the northern Serengeti, where the herds cross the Mara River from about July to September.
  • We use it for the southern plains around Ndutu, where the herds calve from about late January to March.
  • Premium stays are always quoted personally, because their rates move with availability.
